I have been pondering about this for quite some time.

 

I often find myself in a rut around mid year.

 

When I pause, pull myself back from the everyday mundane and examine my life, I face my reality and long for a change.

 

Your current reality reflects your habits and behaviours.

 

What did you optimise for in the last 3 months?

 

Maybe you intentionally poured all your attention in your career and neglected health.

 

Maybe you took on more jobs to make ends meet and ignored your family.

 

Is where you are now where you wanted to be 90 days ago?

 

If not, it’s time to make a change.

 

Here’s how to improve your life… in a nutshell:

  1. Start small. You can’t turn your life upside down overnight. Whether that be going out for a 10-min walk or applying for a job, do something today. Let the Snowball Effect take care of the rest.
  2. Set directions, not goals. Be directional correct towards what you want, and keep an open mind for opportunities that may come along.
  3. Keep observing your behaviours. Track how you spend your time. Start new habits or break old ones. Habits dictate your outcome. Change the equation, change the reality.

 

Have more courage. You will be glad you made a move today, 6 months later.
