The Art of Letting Go (More Space, More Peace) 🍃

This article is hugely influenced by a whole week of unpacking and settling in a new apartment.

Whether you’re dealing with a physical or mental mess, this is for you.

Funnily enough, “letting go” has been my chosen theme for the year – and I certainly let go of many things during my move.

More to come.

Today in 3 minutes or less, you’ll learn:

✔️ Why declutting is necessary

✔️ Minimalism 101

✔️ Why “quitting” isn’t for losers

Doable ideas 💭

It’s called a “living room” for a reason.

Don’t make it a “storage room”.

This is your cue to do some decluttering, and be more mindful of what you bring into the house 🙂

Reflections 🪞

How can I simplify my life?

Mindfulness 🧘🏻‍♀️

What does “letting go” mean to you?

To me, it hints “releasing” in different contexts.

When you’re decluttering, it might mean getting rid of things that don’t spark joy/fit your lifestyle.

When you’re burnt out, it might mean leaving situations that don’t serve you anymore.

When you’re troubled, it might mean releasing the emotional burden or intention to control what you can’t.

Some people see that as “quitting”.

I don’t think quitting is for losers.

If we don’t let go of what doesn’t serve us anymore, how are we going to create space for better opportunities?
