It’s been an experimentative week full of reflections in my world.


I met new people.


I stayed in a local hotel to save myself 2+ hours of driving mid-week.


I actually finished reading a book.


I was torn between getting a new job and packing up my life and going for a mini-retirement.


My point being… life is always flowing and changing.


Maybe we don’t need to hold onto anything.


What can you test right now that might have tremendous impact in your life?

Pump your heart rate first thing in the morning.


I started skipping for 5 minutes 2 weeks ago right after I got up.


I immediately felt awake and ready for whatever coming my way.

Can the mind distinguish between imagination and reality?


Our brain processes information from both our senses, and self-generating stories that fit what we already believed in.


The mind is a mean-making machine. We are constantly writing new stories about past experiences.


It’s a double-edged sword.


That means you can leverage visualisation. Imagine the process to the finest detail before you go hit your PR.


That means maybe we should keep our dreams and goals to ourselves. The more we talk to others, the more the brain thinks its true, which makes us less likely to pursue the goal in reality.


That means you need to be careful the way you talk to yourself, and the stories you feed yourself with. Don’t let your brain mess up with your nervous system.

Taming the mind is crucial as it prevents us from being consumed by our own thoughts, which can often distort reality. It’s important to live in the present moment, rather than getting trapped in our self-created narratives.
