Mid-year Reset, Gratitude, Building Your Dream Life

Hey friends 👋🏻

this is fine

How do you feel about entering the second half of 2025!?

It is the period for reflection on priorities and goals.

Does anything need to be changed?

How are you going to make the rest of the year great?

Today in 2 minutes or less, you’ll learn:

✔️ How to appreciate life

✔️ Reset for the next 6 months

✔️ Foolproof way to stick to habits without motivation (ever again!)

Doable ideas 💭

Practise gratitude.

Train your brain to see things from different perspectives.

Life often isn’t as bad as you think.

Focus on the little things that bring you joy and peace.

Try listing down 3 things you are grateful for at the beginning of the day.

Learn to want what you already have.

Reflections 🪞

In what ways have your priorities shifted since January? How can you realign your daily actions with these new priorities?

Mindfulness 🧘🏻‍♀️

This is perhaps the only solution to the “discipline” problem we all face.

Something you have complete control over, yet totally underrated.

Our actions follow our identity.

An athlete doesn’t question why she works out consistently.

A painter doesn’t stop and think why he spends 5 hours refining his art.

When something becomes your identity, you act without second thoughts.

At the end of the day, it is all about becoming your future self.

Habits shape the lifestyle, the process to achieve the goals, and new states of mind.

Who is your future self? What kind of habits does that person have?

Then look at your current life.

How can you bridge the gap between the current and ideal life?

The best part is that – we are in control of the habits we want to cultivate and keep.

It takes self-awareness. It takes trial and error. It takes constant adjustments. It takes time.

So start experimenting today.

Start being your future self.

I would argue that intentional, healthy habits are crucial for building your dream life.

On bad days, habits keep you sane – the morning walks, 5-minute meditation, talking to friends, or just drinking enough water.

On good days, habits prime you to push harder on your pursuits with higher energy and momentum.

Invest your time properly in things you actually want to do.

Tiny things go a long way.

Ideas Worth Pondering 🧠

The challenge isn’t to avoid negative states altogether. It’s to not let them consume you.
