What To Do With Low Mood 😟

This week I had the privilege to visit a wealthy family in my neighbourhood.


It’s an instant shift of perspective – we are all living in different realities.


What someone takes for granted might be something another person struggles his/her whole life trying to get.


What you think impossible is someone else’s everyday life.


That, and a lot of introspection this week inspired the Doable Ideas, Reflection and Mindfulness in this edition.



Today in 4 minutes or less, you’ll learn:

Doable ideas 💭

Quick one: every time you use the phrase “I think” or “I believe”, pause and think if you really think or believe in something.


Challenging our core beliefs can be helpful in making changes.


I successfully got up an hour early twice this week to get some writing done (”I believe I’m a night owl”).


I also changed my diet and fitness goals (”I think I have to lose more weight”).

Reflections 🪞

What old patterns are showing up in my life?

Mindfulness 🧘🏻‍♀️

You can’t think your way out of a mind problem.


Taking action – either engaging in physical activities or doing something under your control about the situation, might be the best way to get out of your head.


As much as I’d like to think of myself being invincible, disciplined and unbreakable, I do have bad days.


It hit me like a truck this week.


Tim Ferriss’ advice came in at the perfect timing:

Absolute gold.


Following his advice, I scheduled social events, signed up for some calisthenics class, and booked a float therapy.


Movements, gatherings. Something to look forward to.


Onto you now: are you constantly time travelling? I.e., ruminating about the past or worrying about the future?
